Lola March 2026
Lola is a beautiful, sweet 7 year old who is looking for a new home after an unexpected change in her owners living and working circumstances meaning that Lola is now being left alone for longer than she likes.
Lola can be an anxious girl and can suffer with separation anxiety which has resulted in barking which has upset the owners new neighbour, who needs to rest after a severe illness.
Lola’s owner has seen a behaviourist and looked at dog walkers and day care, but these are all short term fixes and Lola needs someone around the majority of the time for a happy life.
Lola’s is a loving, cuddly girls who’s owner has spent a lot of time with her enjoying training together, she knows lots of commands like all the usual ones sits, stay, fetch, close, have a drink etc. She has a good recall on quiet country walks, but it’s less reliable when there are dogs and people close by, she can also lose concentration around livestock so is on lead near them, she’s walked on a lead and harness, she has previously used lead and collar and a slip lead for training for a short period. When she meets new dogs on walks she can react by barking and pulling/spinning towards them on lead, she gets excited/frustrated/enthusiastic, off lead she is more relaxed and may play chase with them.
She is neutered and a happy traveller, she has had the odd accident when left alone due to her separation anxiety but is normally very clean, she is happy sleeping in her bed in the kitchen over night and when she was younger she was used to a crate.
Lola is familiar with visiting small children aged 2-6 years and is tolerant and friendly but may find it hard to settle if living with young children, around older children she enjoys their company and is very friendly.
Arounds cats she will stare and pull towards them when seen on a walk probably will chase if allowed. Will be inquisitive if meeting a confident cat in a household.
Lovely Lola is currently in the Powys area and will be rehomed with her 5 weeks Agria insurance and our Adoption Contract.
