Nino is a very handsome fella who’s owners have had to make this heartbreaking decision to find him a new retirement home after a change in their personal lives and the lack of affordable rented accommodation that will allow a lovely fella like him in their area.
Nino turns 15 around January and has lived with his family since being adopted from a shelter where he was taken after being abandoned on the side of a motorway at around a year old.
He has been amazing with their children, he is wonderful meeting dogs out on walks and is still playful with his toys. He has always been a healthy boy and has no illnesses that his owner is aware of except for a tumour on his eyelid that doesn’t seem to bother him.
His favourite things are walks, cuddles and snuggling up in his blanket.
He travels fine on short journey but gets bored on long journeys and can start to whine to make sure that you know that he’s fed up.
He has a great appetite and eats a mixture of wet and dry food. He’s walked on a harness and comes back when called while walking at the seafront.
We know that this is a big ask for anyone to take on a GSP at this stage in his life, but he’s such a happy boy that we want to give him this chance and we know how amazing our followers and extended rescue family are, so we are hoping to find him a lovely home for him to see out the rest of his days. 🥰🐾🐾
His owner is happy to cover Ninos food costs and there’s no adoption donation needed, we would also cover any medical costs

Nino is currently in the Worthing area and will be rehomed with his five weeks free Agria Insurance and his Adoption Contract. 💜
