Arco has moved to his new home and settling in really well. He is loving eh open fire and lots of walks .

Arco is a handsome 7 years, 4 months old boy and needs to be rehomed due to a sad change in his family circumstances.
Arco came from working lines and has a good nose and temperament, but is gun-shy. He is well trained - he follows typical gun-dog commands and walks to heel on a slip lead. He has good recall and stops to voice and whistle.
Arco has always lived with another dog, a Labrador, in his family home, so isn't used to being alone. When left in the house, he can be vocal, but not persistent. He is not vaccinated - through owner choice. He had 1st year boosters but has not been vaccinated into adulthood. He is very fit and healthy and was neutered about 3 years ago.
He has spent time with his dad's 3 year old granddaughter at holiday times, and is good with her. She is used to dogs. He is typically just boisterous.
He spends lots of time outside in a run, as well as indoors, in his current home; he sleeps indoors. He is housetrained but since he spends so much time outdoors he sometimes cocks his leg indoors: this would need watching. He travels fine in the car and is fed a gundog dry mix twice a day.
Arco is lively and exuberant with other dogs and gets on well.
He hasn't come across many cats and is steady with livestock.
