November 2017
We have received this wonderful update from one of our gorgeous Golden Oldies Breaca, named after Queen Breaca Boudica.
She is once again having a fantastic life after so sadly losing her first mum. Both lovely families keep in touch, so now Breaca is a huge part of two loving families
'We have now had Breaca for 4 months and since day 1 we have accepted her into our family of 2 pensioners and a 13 yo Jack Russel. After losing the last 2 of our beloved GSPs within a few months of each other last year at , ages of 16 and 13 years old, we were heartbroken and felt that we could never have another GSP as we were realistic enough to remember just how active they are as puppies and knew we were no longer fit to give them what they require in training as they grew up.
My previous 3 GSPs had all competed fairly successfully in Agilty at competitions throughout the UK and were very fit and active until retiring when over 10 years. My Breeder of all my previous dogs recommended that I look at GSP Rescue online and I was hooked on the prospect of offering a forever home to an older dog and waited patiently until Deb Seeley found the perfect match !
My elderly Jack Russell had grown up surrounded by GSPs and I knew she regarded the breed as friends. After a few months we spotted Breaca and fell in love with her picture and story online. Best decision ever! and Breaca is now very much part of our family and has now trained us as her servants and staff as GSPs tend to do!
She and JRT Zoe are good friends and share a bed in front of the Fire now that the weather has declined.
Not only have we found the perfect dog, we have found a new friend in Deb and we keep a close watch online and on Facebook to see all that is happening with new dogs seeking and finding new forever homes.
GSP Rescue is now our Charity of choice and we plan to continue to support and fundraise as much as possible to help towards the amazing work they do for the best breed in the world. Breaca and Zoe are looking forward to Christmas and seeing what Santa has brought them as they are such good girls and we would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas from Breaca and our family

Breaca has moved to her lovely new home :)
July 2017
We are looking for a lovely retirement home for this beautiful girl, very sadly she recently lost her owner and we are helping her lovely family find her a new home.
Breaca turned 12 years of age in May,she is fit, healthy and active, she loves cuddles and really enjoys her walks.
She walks on a normal lead, has a good recall and is fine with other dogs while out and about on her walks. She hasn't lived with children but is gentle when she is introduced to them. Breaca hasn't lived with a cat and has no knowledge of livestock, so her reactions are unknown. Breaca is used to journeys and travels well in the car.
She is spayed, microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date.
Breaca has been sleeping in her mums bedroom until very recently and has full run of the house. She has never been in kennels, so we are looking for a home where she will not have to go into kennels even for holidays.
Breaca has always lived as an only dog, she is happy when left home alone for a few hours after excercise, but does love the company of her people and would prefer to be with them.
Breaca is fed on Natures Menu Country Nuggets with treats and her Denta stix.
Breaca does have the odd lump, but at this age nothing more than you would expect to see on a GSP.
Currently Breaca is staying in Axminster, Devon but the area could change as time goes on.
Breaca like all our dogs, will have our 5 week free insurance with Agria Pet Insurance and our rehoming contract.
If you think you could offer this Gorgeous Golden Oldie a loving home please contact us with your email address so that we can send out out Interest to Adopt Form.
