This very handsome boy is Callum. He will be 7 in December and is a happy, healthy lad who has been a working dog until recently. He is looking for a new home because of his dads ill health. Callum is a very much loved boy and this has been a hard decision for the family.
Callum has lived with children of all ages from babies to teenagers and has been very respectful and gentle with them. He has lived with a Lab sister and a Shitzu brother at different times and been happy with their company. However he has also lived as an only dog and enjoyed all the attention that comes with that π.
At the moment Callum is kennelled but he has also spent time in the home so is housetrained. With his lack of exercise lately he has started to bark in his kennels at night and he has also escaped and taken himself off for a walk. But as soon as he was spotted by his dad, he ran straight to the car and jumped into the open estate. π
Itβs unknown how he will be around cats but his owners think he could chase them. He is fine around livestock and travels like a dream. Callum is used to a lot of regular exercise and training. Although he hasnβt been walked routinely on a lead, he walks well to heel and loves being driven to fields and mountains for his exercise. He does behave very well off lead and has a recall to the whistle and to a voice. He is fed on a working dog kibble which he enjoys.
Callum is currently in the Oxford area. If you feel that you could offer Callum the active, loving home that he is looking for, please contact us.
Callum will be rehomed with his 5 weeks free Agria Insurance and our Rehoming Contract. GSP Rescue UK Terms and conditions apply.
