This little Beauty is Daisy who will be 2 years next month.
We are working with our lovely friends at Biro to find Daisy a new home.
She arrived in the UK from Serbia in January and moved straight into a great foster home. The foster family fell in love with Daisy and adopted her very quickly 💖
Daisy has met the cats living next door and in the neighbourhood and she’s realised that chasing them is a lot of fun. So much so that she will scale their 6’ fence to get into next doors garden and has even been in the house after them. 🙈 This has not gone down well with the neighbours so sadly the foster family have made the hard decision to rehome Daisy before one gets hurt.
She is a funny, loving girl who gets along with all members of the family from the 8 year old grandchild to the older adults, she just loves everyone.
Daisy is very happily living with the three resident dogs and walks the school run with them daily.
Daisy does like to jump up onto the kitchen units for a snooze and can easily reach open cupboards and shelves. She’s quite the climber and very quick, so would be excellent for agility.
Daisy is relaxed around food when the family eat at the dinner table and just lays down, but like lots of GSPs is far more interested in food on your lap. Out on walks she is more ball focused than treat focused and enjoys playing with her ball.
She will also very happily play with dogs, her good friends are a pair of Vizslas who she loves playing chasing with. Her recall is very good but she can pull on the lead so wears a Gencon (like a figure of 8 around her head) which helps but this is still a work in progress as she would much rather be off lead.
Daisy will need to be kept on lead around livestock as she will chase.
Definitely no cats as mentioned above.
We will be looking for a home where she can have the dog company that she really enjoys, she’s very playful and can be too much for the older dog in the home.
She travels very well, sleeps in her crate at night, has a full pet passport and is neutered.
Daisy isn’t sure about English or French Bull Terriers and will give them a wide-birth. Bless her 💜
