This stunning youngster is Dash, he is 17 months old and a happy, friendly and very playful boy.
Very sadly his owners work commitments have changed, because of this we will be looking to move him as soon as possible because Dash is missing the company and exercise that he enjoys.
Dash plays very well with other dogs happy to bounce over to meet them, he has had a few tellings off from some dogs for his enthusiasm, he is intrigued and wants to make friends with them all 😂
He has been living with an older Cocker Spaniel who he enjoys playing and cuddling up with. Dash has never been left alone, he has always had his best friend with him and together they have been left for a few hours.
He is walked in a secure football field where he meets his mates, he does come back to his name and loves playing hide and seek with his owner. But his recall has never been tested away from his usual walks. This has a good base but ongoing training will be needed as with all youngsters.
He also loves playing games and cuddling with the children and is familiar with children aged 5 years up to 10 years, he can be a little too boisterous for the youngest one on times.
Dash has never met a cat, but being very curious about most things he could be fine after careful introductions.
He has met sheep and was happy walking on a lead through fields without showing too much interest. He has met horses pulling carts along the lane and the noise of the carts frightened him a little and he did bark. But his owner thinks that that was because of the cart more than the horses.
Dash travels really well, is fit, healthy and at the moment entire, (he will need to be neutered at a suitable time for Dash and we as a charity can help with this cost.)
