Hester moved to her new home at the end of July, after lots of planning and sharing of information . Her first mum was amazing! She joins her GSP brother Harley, and family. She is having a lovely time out and about, at the coast especially
Hester is a happy, healthy 3 year old girl who is very affectionate and loves cuddling up on the sofa or bed when she is invited up. She sleeps in her bed on the landing but given a chance she would be under the duvet with you 😊
She is being rehomed along with her sister Vitra because of a change in their lovely families work commitments, meaning that the girls are going to be increasingly left longer at home, which is something that they are not used to. She can be happily left for up to 4 hours with her sister as company after exercise and is crate trained.
Hester enjoys the company of other dogs but can be put off with some entire males. Hester is amazing with children after being raised with a newborn baby, she's currently living with a 6 month old baby and a 2 1/2 year old toddler, she actively seeks out visiting toddlers and is very gentle around them, she also loves older children and again is very gentle with them.
Hester has not been cat tested but she has chased sheep causing some injuries, she has attended sheep awareness training and this was a great success because after 10 minutes she was afraid to go near them, however she remains untested since the incident, but she is a very quick learner who responds well to training so on going training would be a good benefit.
Hester walks well on a slip lead or a figure of 8 lead, she also recalls to 3 pips of the whistle as long as she isn't having too much fun free running with her sister or chasing rabbits 😉
She used to travel frequently as a puppy and will do so now, although she can be sick and does not want to get into the car. This may be from the recent lack of regular travel or motion sickness her family are unsure.
Hester is a beautiful, affectionate youngster who will enjoy an active home with on going training and a canine companion or a human that is around for the company that she loves.
Hester will be rehomed with 5 weeks free insurance and our Rehoming Contract, she is currently in the Kent area.
If you feel that you could offer this lovely girl her Happy Ever After and meet all her training needs, please personal message the GSP Rescue UK Team.
