This very handsome fella is 5 year old Lemmy (named after Motörhead’s Lemmy who died the day this one arrived home) He is a GSPxVizsla who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own and as a matter of urgency.
Lemmy is a lovely boy who is happily living with children of 10-12 years of age, but is too boisterous for young children. He is good with other dog’s and will ignore most especially when he’s playing with his ball. He can growl at smaller dogs if they bother him and get caught up between his legs.
He’s a very loving, active boy who travels really well, he enjoys car journeys but isn’t a fan of being left alone in the car.
Lemmy walks past sheep and livestock showing very little interest in them. He doesn’t like squirrels or cats and will chase them out of his garden and once jumped his gate to chase after a cat.
He has a good recall to his name and to his owners whistle.
He has been used to sleeping in a utility room but since moving to this new house he has been sleeping and is being left in the kitchen, where he has found the rubbish bin and after emptying it used it to climb onto the counter top. Clever boy. 😎 He can occasionally be left after exercise for 2-3 hours but would prefer to be with his family. He’s a happy, healthy, neutered boy who loves his long walks in the woods, running on the beach and playing with his ball.
Lemmy is currently in the West Midlands area and will be rehomed with his 5 weeks free Agria insurance.
