We have been asked by Megan’s lovely owner if we could help find Megan a more active home than, unfortunately due to her ill health, she can give this youngster.
Megan was found as a puppy in Spain and brought back to the UK by the people who found her.
She was then found this home where she has been living for the last 3 months.
Megan can be frightened by loud noises and sudden movements, she even finds things like a blowing plastic back very scary.
She is cautious meeting new people and situations, but when she feels comfortable is a happy, loving girl who enjoys nothing more than cuddles with her new friends.
Meg is good with all other dogs and will wait to see how they react to her.
Meg has been introduced to children and is quite shy around quiet children and rather nervous of loud boisterous children, so we will only place her in a home with sensible older children.
She has recently been spayed and has recovered well.
Meg can be left for a few hours after exercise with no problems, she is definitely not good with cats and reaction to livestock is unknown, so careful controlled introduction would be needed when meeting livestock.
Megan has had some training with her mum and has the startings of a good recall to both the whistle and her name, she also sits, stays and knows “leave” 😊
She is a very sweet 11 month old who needs on going training and someone who can continue to build her confidence in unfamiliar situations.
Meg holds a full passport and is a happy and healthy girl who would benefit from a calmer older dog as her roll model.
She is currently in the Swansea area and will be rehomed with her 5 weeks free insurance and our Rehoming contract 💜
