Philip

Origin: Cyprus / Age: 3 Years

Summer 2018
Philip has a wonderful life. His dads ave worked on many of his issues but he continued to have some separation anxiety. In June, he was joined a mature lady, Nora. She is a confident, bossy, older GSP and Philip loves her. Since she has joined them, his anxiety has improved and he can now be left for some time (with Nora).
Update December 2017 - Phillip has settled really well into his new home. He has started to play with toys, and really enjoys his home comforts, such as snuggling up by the log fire. He is having loads of interesting walks and plenty of attention. He still has some anxieties about being left along and his new dads are working on this.

October 2017 - Lovely boy Phillip needs a new forever home .
Phillip is a pointer cross and was rescued as a pup in Cyprus. He is now 3 years old and has been with his family since being adopted. He is very good with all ages of children from new born babies to older children; he loves playing with them and being fussed by them. He has been well socialised and enjoys attention from lots of people; he just loves being around people ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿพ.

Phillip has some anxieties and will chew if left unattended. He has recently got used to being in a crate and this has helped. He can be left on his own but is relieved to see his humans return home. He would suit a home where he isn't regularly left for too long.

Phillip gets on well with other dogs. When he was first rescued he was in a shelter with lots of other dogs and still enjoys playing with dogs he sees. He has always been around lots of dogs of various ages. He lives on a farm and, although he was nervous of the cows at first, he has got used to them. He will sometimes run toward them to play
though. He has seen cats and doesn't pay them much attention. His recall abilities vary but he always comes back eventually; more recently he has responded well to initial training, so further training would really benefit him. He has plenty of runs and his dad sometimes uses a long line lead.

Phillip behaves well in the car and will usually sleep or look around to see whatโ€™s happening . He has travelled in the front with passengers and mostly in the boot. Phillip is happy to be bathed and showered but does not like having water sprayed at him (water pistols/hoses). He gets scared as this is how his cage was washed out in the rescue in Cyprus ๐Ÿ˜”.

If you feel you could give this lovely boy another chance at a wonderful forever home, please message us with your email address. If you have already submitted a form, please let us know that you are also interested in Phillip.
Phillip will be rehomed with his five week free insurance from Agria Pet Insurance and our life time contract.
