This young lad is Reggie. We have been asked to help find him a new home because after arriving at this present lovely home a few months ago (after being returned to his breeder at 7 months) he has been showing signs of Separation Anxiety.
Sadly, due to work and family commitments, it has been decided that this very affectionate and loving 2 1/2 year old boy, would be much happier in a home where he has his humans around the majority of the time. Reggie has been left for periods of 20 minutes but it’s believed that he starts to bark and get stressed when left for longer periods.
He is a shy boy when meeting new people, but as soon as he’s comfortable he settles down. Although he hadn’t been well socialised while at the breeders, he has responded to learning new things and meeting new people very quickly while in this lovely home.
He is wonderful with all other dogs in the home and out on walks, and is happy to go for a walk with anyone who will take him 😁. He is a very active boy who loves being out on his walks.
Reggie travels very well, happily lives with a cat and sees cats at the livery yard without an issue. 💜 He has been to a shoot and was very well behaved and appeared to enjoy his time there.
We don’t know how he will react around livestock and has shown too much interest in sheep, so we believe that he would chase without further training.
As far as we are aware Reggie hasn’t lived with young children, so only older dog savvy children would be considered at this point.
