This sweet boy is Rollo who has just turned 3 years of age.
He is a happy healthy and active boy, but unfortunately since moving house at Easter time, Rollo has started to protect his property, much to the annoyance of the neighbours. He has also seen a delivery person as a threat and nipped him while in the garden.
In the home Rollo is very affectionate and loves his cuddles and like many GSPs he will counter surf given the opportunity.
He is strong on the lead and can pull, so on going training will be needed with this.
He likes most dogs and will play with them (especially the females) ) but he isn't a fan of shaggy haired dogs or some Boxers and can appear dominant with these.
Rollo can be left in the home after exercise for several hours quite happily, he is very good with children and is currently living with children aged between 8 and 18 years. We believe that he would chase cats, so we won't be looking for a home that has a cat.
He hasn't met any livestock so his reactions are unknown, therefore careful introductions and further training would be needed.
Rollo travels well and has stayed in kennels without any problems, he has also had some previous training when he attended a residential training facility.
He is vaccinated and neutered and is fed on James Wellbeloved food which he enjoys.
