This affectionate and very loving 6 year old lady is Ruby, aka Frubes or Frubles to her friends and family. 😊
She is a GSP cross that originated in Germany where her military family adopted her as a puppy, then she moved back with them to the UK. She has always lived with their children, now aged 7-16 years and is amazing with them, very loving and playful. Ruby has also lived with a house rabbit, pet mice, ferrets and is currently very happily living with 4 other dogs 🥰
She hasn’t lived with a cat but her owners think that she would be happy getting to know one because she’s so good with all their small furries. She hasn’t been in close proximity to livestock but again her owners think she would be fine with confident introductions.
Ruby’s helped her lovely family foster many young dogs and has been a wonderful foster mum to them all, allowing them into her home and nurturing them 💕. She is neutered, happy and healthy, travels well but can be a little whiny at times. She can be left after exercise and with company for 3-4 hours. Ruby’s raw fed 240g twice a day which she enjoys.
She’s great off lead, happily saying hello and playing with new dogs that she meets. Her recall to her name or nick name is normally very good. 😁
Ruby’s favourite things are long walks, being loved and cuddled and playing ball games with anyone willing to play.

We understand that this is a very difficult and unprecedented time for everyone, however we are still allowed as an official charity to help this young family by finding Ruby a wonderful new home, in doing this we have changed the way we are operating in accordance to the governments guidelines.
