This absolutely gorgeous Golden Oldie is Turca xXx
She is 11 1/2 years young and looking for her Happy Ever After 💕💜💕
Turca has had a very hard life, she’s been used as a breeding bitch for many years, then when she wasn’t able to carry any more pups she was discarded to a kill pound in Spain 😔
Her luck changed when a UK based group took charge of her and put her into a foster home which is where she started her journey to being a healthy, happy girl 💕
Sadly her home here in the UK hasn’t worked out due to a change in family circumstances, so we are working with the UK group to find Turca a wonderful new home.
Turca is currently in a lovely, caring foster home where she has been really enjoying her stay.
Due to her fear of being shut in small spaces and separation anxiety, it’s been found that leaving the doors open in the house where she is free to move around the home with the family makes her much happier and her separation anxiety has improved dramatically 💖
She is very happily living with other dogs and even though she can be worried by big black dogs and big boisterous dogs, she loves little dogs and is very gentle with them 🥰
Turcas manners have improved while in her foster home and she has been very good at learning the house rules. She is now toilet trained and enjoys travelling in the car.
Turca now has the starting of a recall, bless her heart ❣ and loves her walks and blasting around on the beach. She is also used to being walked by a dog walker and enjoys playing ball and playing with squeaky toys 😍
Turca is very gentle girl who loves as much fuss and attention as anyone can give her, one of her favourite things is now cuddling 💖💕💖
Turca can have a loose tummy and this has been helped with scrambled eggs and being fed on Burns fish and rice food.
Turca has lived with a cat in her UK home and surprised everyone by leaving it alone, however we can’t guarantee that this would be the same with every cat because she does still have a high prey drive so could chase in a new environment.
She hasn’t had many interactions with livestock but when showing interest in the sheep her foster mum told her to leave , it and bless her she did 😍 which is something that she doesn’t do for the birds 😂
She is very gentle around children but due to her sensitive nature we would only re home her with older dog savvy children who can be calm around her.
On Turca's wish list she would like a good size garden where she can sunbathe and potter around, 😎 a calm family with lots of time for cuddling and walking and maybe a smallish dog for company. 😊💕
She really deserves her happy ending after her tough life and we are very grateful for the training and care that her foster parents have given her while she has been with them and to the rescue group that saved her life. 💖💕💖
Turca is currently in the Swansea area and will be rehomed with her 5 weeks free Insurance and our Rehoming Contract.
