Woody

Origin: France. Age: 7

Summer 2018
Woody loves his sister Bailey and now has a new human sibling. He has settled beautifully and his family love him to bits. He is a great all round family dog.

July 2017
Woody is a lovely lad who is much loved and is looking for a new home due to a change in his dads work commitments. He is turning 7 in September, healthy and very fit he runs off lead several miles everyday.
Woody is vaccinated, up to date with his worming and flea treatments, he is not cat or livestock tested so his reactions are unknown. He travels very well in the car and is used to being walked by a dog walker twice a week, which he really enjoys. Woody is fed on James Wellbeloved dry food twice daily. He ranges at quite a distance and for large periods of time when out on his walk, but can quickly be called back to his owner using a whistle, new owners would need to be aware of this. Woody is used to being left alone in the lounge and is comfortable going into kennels for short periods. He is happy meeting children out and about on his walks but because he has never lived with young children we will only be rehoming him to older dog savvy children or an adult only home.
This very handsome, tactile lad enjoys the company of other dogs and is very friendly with new people. His dad routinely gets stopped out on walks by strangers who want to comment on how handsome he is, which he loves :)
He originated in Southern France where he was used as a working gun dog. But has more recently been living as a very happy family pet. Woody's owner thinks that Woody would enjoy the company of another dog, he likes males and females and all ages, bless him, but could also live as an only dog where he could have people around for the company that he really enjoys.
Woody will be rehomed with our five week free insurance and our rehoming contract. If you feel that you could offer this lovely lad an active new home, please message us with your email address so that we can send you one of our Adoption Interest Forms :)
